Benecare Mallet Finger Splints are designed to support distal joint of finger in extension while permitting unrestricted movement of proximal interphalangeal joint. Benecare mallet is normally used without padding and is taped to middle phalanx, elevating distal joint to properly extended position.

Very good in that it gives good support but it's not easy to prevent it slipping off. You must not block the next joint as it will stiffen badly. There is also a problem with the plasticagainst the skin causing the area to become rather sore
I had a tendon injury in one of my fingers and the splint provided great support and protection!
I bought this to support my broken finger and I even used it when i was playing 5-a-side football!
